i even have climbed to the top of the sky tower (akl nz) to check the terminations on the gold lightning rod.

but i think you'd almost want to have a chute so you could just base jump off at the end of the shift

Scary stuff. The top of the tower is frightening as hell.

Would make me feel better if i had a chute (in an event of an emergency) but if you fell off that tower you wouldn't have much space to deploy a chute. Especially if it's unexpected, you wouldn't get any clearance. Nice way to finish work on a Friday tho..
