...my restriction is over thread Mr. Green

I want a new bike now as the ER5 is boring me senseless. Something quicker, louder and more refined.

Oh how I am green. Sad.

Go get a super-fast bike and feel good about it being legal!

All I want is a nice touring bike but all the decent ones wouldn't move with 33bhp..

I fancy a V-twin of some kind, but wouldn't mind a ZX6r or similar.

Or just get a GSXR1000 instead Confused.

Seems pretty much any sports bike with a race can fits your requirements.

Heard the 750 has the handling of the 600 and near power of the 1000, and on the thou, you've got to shut the throttle right off, dive into a corner, then slam the power back on.

What he said.

i got a gsxr 750 and they are great fun. You can throw them into corners with mindless abandon and power out of them like a lunatic Mr. Green

But have you ridden a GSXR1000? Smile
Despite Wilson's rather confused thought, you can in fact keep the power on around corners. You should perhaps find who ever told you this and poke them in the eye for being silly; then yourself for listening Wink.
It weighs a teeny bit more than the 750, but it's already designed to not only take the power, but be reliable, which a tuned 750 is less likely too!

Listen young man, there is a rule on this forum, albeit an unwritten one. However if it was written it would be written thus:

Don't give advice on something that you have no direct experience of. It really gets on my tits, so don't fucking do it OK?

Oh yeah, and I suggest you go to a dealer, test ride a GSXR1000 and they try shutting the throttle off and slamming the power back on. Then, when you've recovered from the coma, and finished paying back the wrecked bike you can tell us why what you have written there is total bollocks.

You've met me, did you not see how small I was? I want something lighter than the ER as well.

And a shiny, clean, 4 stroke is what I want for commuting. I've ridden the TZR for 40 miles in the last 9 weeks. In that time I've put 1,500 miles on the ER5. What is happening to me? Crying or Very sad
