Went for a ride today just to chill out, nothing seemed to click! its got to have been one of the worst rides I've had. Nothing went smooth, felt uncomfortable etc, so cut the ride short and came home as I felt it could only get worse and I'd end up having a spill.Yet yesterday I had a great ride over to see some friends and everything felt so natural. Anybody else experience this from time to time?

Not as extreme as coming off or dropping the bike but I do get off days. More so on the old 125 before the test. Some days the bike just didnt feel stable or safe under me but some days the bike felt great. Strange but true.

Thats happens to me too. One day could be great, everything comes together and I'm at one with the bike. Another day everything can be crap, not in the zone at all, feel no confidence or think something is wrong. When i have bad days I just take it easy and ride slow or give up and go home.

Yep. I went out yesterday and just felt a little disjointed. I wasn't having a bad day as such, more that I didn't feel like I was flowing in the same way as I have done recently.

Usually after a winter layoff I'm terrifically rusty.

I have lots of on and off.
Mind you, I am still learning Wink

Some ways I think I am in a car, and don't put enough throttle into it or under gear.

Now I like to take shorter time on the motorbike and stop while I am ahead and doing well. And therefore, I don't get a knock in confidence Smile

My off days are when I think? If I just relax and go with the flow then alls good.

Had it often when I was cycling 7 days a week. There were some days where just nothing gelled. I will probably get it with motorbikes too but my journey is bland and I am still a leaner so most days for me are just average and still a little clunky at times.

The last 2 instructors I've had for my A2 license have said I'm ready to do the mod 2 and I'll pass, yet I went to go do my mod 1 the other day (which I passed btw Dance! ) and on the way there and back again, I absolutely sucked. Nothing was going right, I couldn't ride for love nor money.

I was going to post that about you, forgetting you're actually a member of this forum.

But yeah, I have the same problems from time to time as well. Usually sod's bastard law wakes up when it's raining, cold, I overslept and I'm late for work...
