Normally reckon on 160 miles to reserve on my ZZR600's 17 litre (3.74 gal) tank.

Depends upon how i ride.

It appears to vary between 75-200 miles a tank for me. But on average the bike appears to be getting 70mpg. Can't complain Smile

i dunno how to work mpg
but i do about 100 to reserve with how i (joy)ride, but i imagine you could do about 120-40 ish maybe even 150 before reserve from full tank. Which is around about £7 worth of petrol.

So at my crazy overtake everything high revving 100 mph 100 miles for £7 is 7p a mile. Harsh Neutral but whats that in mpg?

I have no idea how many gallons my tank even holds Shocked let alone work out all that mpg/kpg/litre/gallon thing.

All I know is, its a pretty big tank (cos I can only just hold up the bike around it, LOL) ... I put in about £15 worth of gas when its nearly empty, and I get around 180-200 (km, I think) out of it before I got to put another £12-15 in it.

But I do a lot of loud revving in traffic to make 'em move to let me thru, so that prolly wastes a lot *tee hee*

Plus: these types I occasionally ride with, they tend to go faster than me, so I have to waste my precious juice to, errrrrrm, "keep up with them" Shocked

I get between 71 and 90 MPG on a good day on my automatic moped. Thats pretty poor for a moped really. I have known people to get over 100MPG. Sad

I read somewhere that the CG's official fuel economy is 125mpg. My bike officially is 65mpg, and I'd agree with that, it's just that it costs me another 50% of petrol costs in two stroke oil as well!

God those things are economical, My friend has a CG and oftern we ride down to Plymouth , I have to fill up (and carry oil with me) at least once in the Journey, where as his bike just seems to run on fresh air! And his CG is no slower than my bike (he put a straight though exhaust on Rolling Eyes) , which is somewhat annoying, especially as he is approaching 20 stone where as I am a measly 11. There good bikes those CG's! Thumbs Up
