Posted: 09:30 - 22 Sep 2010 Post subject: New PC. Recommendations please. |
 |
|
I'm currently using future son-in-laws machine, but as he and no.1 daughter are moving out soon, machine will be going with him, so I'll be needing another PC.
Requirements are:
Dual monitor output (DVI)
1TB HDD
Fast enough for quality and rapid photoshopping/photo processing
Cheap (ish)
I'm considering this: https://www.ebuyer.com/product/200544
Opinions please? Anyone recommend any other suppliers that they've used? ____________________ Responsibility. It's a difficult reality for some. I'm running the 2014 Sheffield Half Marathon on behalf of Bluebell Wood Childrens Hospice. Please sponsor me, even if it's just a quid.

I would recommend Scan. I've used them before, both for parts and for pre-built systems. Take a look at this one:

Looks to be the sort of thing that you are after.... ____________________ Current Bike: 2018 Honda CRF250L

I've built my own in the past, but I can't seem to source components for the spec I want to make it as cheap as something I can get ready built...I'd much rather buy from an independent as I always feel they've been built with more care and have been appropriately tested/set-up, as against big name systems, but I've been running a (borrowed) Acer system for about 6 months and I'm very impressed with it... ____________________ Responsibility.
