For Sale: Green Kawasaki Versys 650 with extras...

Ladies and gents, I have here a very fine example of the Kawasaki Versys 650 which looks resplendent in metallic green. Being a Kawasaki, it is of course the only colour in which the bike shines, and shows off its perfect form which could only be loved by its mother.

The bike was lovingly shipped to its first owner in March 2008, and after being bedded in, it was bought by myself at 3800 miles. Sitting in the dealership as a totally standard Versys, I saw it and immediately started a shopping list to add what I considered tasteful extras (The rim tape comes off easily folks if it isn't to your taste!).
Days later, I was the proud owner, and 21 months later, here I am offering it to a welcoming home.

During my time with the bike, it has been a pleasure to ride, has taken me to foreign countries (Scotland & Ireland!) and has given me many, many happy days on the bike. You could pootle around a picturesque national park and the bike would respond kindly, alternatively you could open her up and enjoy the sound of the exhaust note from the wonderfully shiny Scorpion under the engine. It is baffled which makes it legal for road use.

I have given the bike a mild makeover, adding useful extras such as KTM Guards, Oxford Heated Grips, gel heel plate covers and swingarm bobbins but at the same time, hoped to have improved her by adding a rear hugger by Ermax, a tail tidy, a set of 2009 Clear Indicators and a Kawasaki MRA screen. An official gel tankpad adds some protection to the tank. Also included in this sale is an official Kawasaki rear rack and Kawasaki Top box to hold all the necessity's when going on a short break.

All of her original parts still exist and are packed away in a box (all except the original exhaust which was used in a swap deal with a fellow owner to obtain the Scorpion)

Being a 2 ½ year old bike, MOT is not required until next March and likewise the tax is also covered until then. Serviced by official Kawasaki Dealers up to 8000 miles, it was then lovingly serviced by myself only a thousand miles ago, with currently 13100 miles on the clock. It has highly rated Avon Storm ST tyres fitted.

Inspection and test rides are welcome provided that the full asking price in cash is left as deposit. If damaged, you've bought it!
