Smelly gloves

My summer gloves stink something aweful, i've set about washing my hands before and after each time i wear them to no effect, so whats a good way to get rid of the stank lol?

Wrapping them in clingfilm and chucking them in the freezer overnight works for me (and my boy's boxing gloves). Most of the bacteria that cause the smell die of the cold.

I tend to use the motox gloves for road in the summer, winter aswell sometimes, and i just chuck em in the washing machine. Probably not as easy with leather ones etc.

I had a pair of gloves that got drenched in a downpour. The water ran down my arms filling my gloves up. When they dried out the stink was unreal. Freezing them didnt cure the problem. Neither did anti bacterial spray and the last resort was the washing machine and that still didnt cure the smell....

Got me some new ones and threw the old ones out in the end. I've heard wearing a set of vinyl gloves under your reg gloves will cure the smell but the down side is your hands will sweat in the vinyl ones as they dont allow skin to breath.

I freezered mine too, works a treat Thumbs Up

clean then in soapy water and rince them out first

I can honestly say I have never smelt my gloves...I want to try now, but I am in the office, would look a bit odd I think!

Stick a bar of Dove in each glove. when you lay them down. The perfume will de-oderize them.
Wash your hands after pooing

There that even rhymes too.

Freezing is not a good idea as the ice crystals formed destroy the leather. Smile
