My GSXR 600 K1's clock (for time) on the dash resets itself to 0100 every time I turn the ignition off.

I'm presuming there is some sort of battery that keeps its time when not running but can I replace it and if I do where do I find it?

Thanks Thumbs Up

Not sure about that bike in particular but you'll most likely find it's soldered onto the circuit board on in the clocks and may not look anything like a battery. Probably a bit of a pain to change - doable, though.

And it runs off the battery so you'll be looking for a wire on your clock loom thats fubar

Also check, that after a ride, your trip meter may say 12.4miles.Switch the ignition off ,wait and then switch it back on ,the trip may now say 12.0miles.I had the same prob with mine Sad contact cleaner, compressed air on the maim clock loom/block had the prob sorted.
