Hi everyone, just yesterday took my CBT and am looking forward to getting a bike again after 24 years away from them! OK, starting back with a pretty tame CBF125, but with a view to being rid of it by summer next year, and getting my 'mid life crisis' bike soon after.
Have enjoyed the banter on here from the sidelines so far, and some of the kit/bike info has been a great help.
Thought I'd go down the 125 route as really not sure what I want, I use to have TS125, DT125, but now really like the sports style, and some of the 'naked' styles. My leftfield choice is the Triumph Scrambler. Ah well, got to pass my test first!
Anyway, just thought I'd get an introduction post up!
Cheers........ |

Thanks for the replies, as to the test getting harder, it doesn't phase me too much, in my work I have tests at regular intervals, which fortunately has left me quite chilled out in the test environment.
The CBF will become my main commuting method, at over a 100mpg it's x4 better than my car!!!! Already bought an AGV lid, RST suit, boots and gloves - and yes put it all on and stood in front of the mirror! Got to check fit!!!!
About 4 weeks to wait for my bike....tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock!!!!!!
Later..... |

I was away for 30 years then 2 years ago sat and passed the
test, since then i've had 2 bandits a Z750s and now have
a VFR 800,went for the VF because i'm a pussy who likes
some wind protection.
enjoy...and always imagine and think the idiot in the cars gonna
pull out......think more what other driver will do, i anticipate more
on the bike than i do in my focus. ____________________ www.soundclick.com/foursticks |
