I usually start feeling stiff shoulder and neck after about 150km ride, today I went for group riding with shop members for a lunch after 150km ride (no motorway), I felt bad stiff shoulder and neck and even eye strain and head ache.
After lunch we started riding back home but my head ache was beyond limit so when we entered SA for a rest, I told them I need to go to my friends place, and said bye to them, and rested on the bench for 2 hours.
After 2 hours I felt better enough for riding safely, I took on motorway this time. I cruised at more than 100km/h alone. Strangely this time I started feeling really good, and had nearly no strain at my shoulder and neck.

I think I usually feel the handlebar on my TDM900 is a little bit far from me because I am 173cm tall. So I have to bend my body forward to reach the handlebar. But on the motorway, wind blast balances me.

When I once asked for an advise about neck pain on jap forum, they told me that I may be holding the handlebar harder, you should support your body with your back not your hands.
But I still can not do this well. When I get tired, I tend to straighten my arms on the handlebar knowing it's not good.

I need your advise, do you think if I attach a different handlebar which is closer to me, will it resolve these problems? Or I should tone up my neck and shoulder? Or should I master the proper riding form?

Sounds like you need to relax a bit more. Make sure you can do the 'chicken dance' with your arms when you're holding the bars to make sure you're not tense.

Try using earplugs as well and consider a set of bar risers.

Try to relax your arms and shoulders more, and try to keep your elbows slightly bent (a.k.a the chicken dance)
It may help you to support your body if you do some sit-ups and push ups etc to increase your core/body strength??

The option of higher bar risers and/or Renthal streetfighter-type bars might be an idea too

[edit] joe beat me to it about the risers Thumbs Up Wink

Thanks! I need sit-ups and push ups too. Recently I am too lazy..
TDM standard bar is already "up" type and height is enough, so I need a bar (or bar riser) which makes the bar closer to me.

Can you undo the bolts holding the bar clamps and swivel the bars back towards you?
