Working in town last night and not a lot was going on, but as I was standing there, I noticed all the ped-bois!.
most of them were a bit chavy and riding a ped that had an angry wasp in a bean can for an engine .
One lad stood out though, as his choice of bike was a bit different!.
He had a VERY non standard Honda C90.
I dont know what was hiding under the plastic fairing/leg-shields, but it wer`nt half quick .
It was a real little wolf in sheeps clothing and I want one .
Was it one of those Lifan 110cc engines or is it something else I have not heard of?
Sorry no pictures as i did`nt have a camera with me . ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |

I think the lifans go up to 160cc now quite possibly one of those, or some other 140/150/160 clone. You can get a load of performance stuff from here https://www.ooracing.com ____________________ '92 Honda NX650 Dominator RD02

Can get around 20hp with a couple of mods to a stock (expensive) 160cc or so engine which I believe will bolt straight in to a stock c90.
Remember, as stock, c90 suspension isn't actually that great; leading link front can make for interesting/challenging situations! All part of the fun, I'm told .
On that, I've got a T&T'd stock c90 for sale if anyone's interested, but it's a good bike that's I've spent a bit on, so wanting a bit more than basic peanuts (at least 'extra special ones' ). |

Loads of C90 compatable tuning parts out there for the monkey bike brigade. The worlds your oyster really. Anything from a big bore to a short stroke crank, 5 speed gearbox and 'plug and play' nitrous kits.
I've seen a 125cc DOCH conversion too. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

My friend had a CT70 with a 23bhp 160 engine in it from a pitbike.
It was awesome fun, one of the most fun bikes I've ridden
Engine bolts straight in as well, takes less then an hour to change an engine! ____________________ 2009 CBR1000RR

Looking for no less than £400. I'm in Reading, but soon be going up to Lancashire in my van.
It's got trials tyres and only has the rear half of the front mudguard.
However, happy to swap on some (old bit knackered) road tyres along with a mud guard in one piece.
It's in the late teens mileage-wise and has done a 'supermopedathon' (see here - don't worry, nothing bad from the times it met the ground!), however I have done a reasonable amount of work on it since getting it - new air filter, oil changed, valves done, etc.
Been using it to get around town recently.
As I say, totally stock apart from tyres and mudguard.

It all depends how much you want good fuel economy and ultra reliability. If you do, then you're going to be limited as it seems the latter ones have it mostly at the expense of power. |
