The chappie won't send it up front, based upon "not trusting a stranger" (me). If there's a single regular member on here who doesn't know the strength of my moral compass, including those who dislike me, I'd be pretty fucking suprised. So it seems young Trev might be up to something...my guess is counterfeit baccy.

If anyone does get some from him, and it's legit, please post here and I'll apologise to him (for suspecting him of being a scam-artist, but not for being too thick to know when somebody can be trusted or not).

Not exactly royalty, but pretty close.

Personally, I think your moral compass is affected by your dominant personality and sense of moral outrage. I'm sure if you felt justified you would be capable of all sorts of things that might go against someone elses moral compass.

I'm tempted to pretend that he sent me some stuff on credit, but that would be deceitful, so i wont.

There are people on here who I'd trust down to what they say and how they say it. Trev isn't one of them. Not because he sounds dodgy per se but because he doesn't happen to post the kind of content that's very revealing of his moral compass (unlike me). Which is the case for most people here, as it happens.

But anyway, he's sending me x4 up front and as soon as I have it and see it's not camel-shit he'll get the readies. Thumbs Up

There's a difference between a corner shop and a good tobacconist though.

On a completely unrelated note from Hetzer's post obviously, my wacky tobacky dealing friend slipped me a sample of his favourite haze as a "try this shit, it's my favourite". That's a friend since I was about 11 though, so maybe irrelevant.

I have bought off him before and it is fine. I have had crappy eastern European GV and it is shite but what I got off him a while back was fine and I am ordering some off him this week so I suggest you change your opening post.

Calling someone a scammer because he won't send you baccy without payment is pretty stupid tbh.

If you pay through paypal, no risk. That is what I did.

Yeah, except he asked Pablo to send the money as a gift...= zero protection. Not all the fishy details have been mentioned in the original post.

And no, it's not "pretty stupid". If I suspect something is dodgy and I can save other members from dropping a brick I'll do just that.
