My big bro just got a 2007 Plate CG125 with 5k on the clocks for £1200...just a shame he cartwheeled it a week later Laughing

(though we have sorted the bike out again now)

The money was loaned to me on the premise of me buy a NEW bike only, was originally gonna buy a 2002 plate Jincheng JC100-7 off a mate for 400 but there was alot to sort on it before i could even get it out on the road, not a great deal of choice on the bike i got as it wasn't me paying for it but overall i was happy with the street from what experience i got on it, and in all honesty it was my own decision to bail and it ending up written off.

Only on a cbt, not a great deal of experience on bikes in general, didn't know what the street was or wasn't capable of, didn't fancy trying to turn off gravel back onto tarmac in case i slid out and ended up downing on the gravel, only a helmet n biking gloves for proper ppe (learned that lesson well) (full set of gear on the way for the replacement bike arriving) so i chose the option of kill as much speed as possible and aim for the softest thing i could see (grass) and hope for the best.

Fully appreciate that pretty much everyone on this forum even someone who's been riding for 2 days has a shedlaod more experience and insight than i do and i'll never turn down free advice, just situation can't change so gotta stay the course at this point or end up with nothing + owing my mother in law £300 after insurance is all done n dusted (need to check on that actually)

But regardless of the outcome thanks to all for their advice, will see how things go with the new bike and hopefully at some point won't be posting with something that'll get an "i told ya so" Razz

CG's tend to be 800 quid from what I have seen. How much is his bike?

I think he said over a grand.

older CGs go for a LOT less than 800, they do around here at least.
