My set turned up today that I ordered, tried them on everything is comfy apart from the third finger is sewn to the little finger, why? Not sure I like that at all will give it a go on the bike a few times, but I suffer from CTS so I need to wriggle my fingers seperately whilst out on the bike or my hand cramps up, so would there be any detrimental effects on the glove if I were to snip the leather attaching them together?

Stops finger roll when your pinkie slides beneath your ring and lose it - think troy bayliss silverstone - that's why he has a stump of a little finger.

I've got the GP Plus AND Pros and to be fair, i'm used to having the fingers sewn together that it feels odd. I brake using my last 3 fingers anyway so it doesn't bother me much. I do find that the span of the gp plus is a bit shorter than the pros so you palms feel a bit tighter. Good gloves mind and mine's lasted me 2 1/2 years in all weather.

If that is all it is for then I feel the scissors may come out, hate the feeling of not being able to move all 4 fingers seperately

True, but I have been wearing them for a bit to try and get used to them, so far it has just cramped my hands up, will have to try them on the bike, but I can't see me getting used to them, I need to be able to move all my fingers separately to help the blood flow, otherwise my hands will just cramp and go numb and it is fucking painful Sad

Although I don't have exactly the same gloves I've actually totally forgotten about my small finger being attached to the next one... although i find i couldn't move them much more if they weren't attached.

More to do with helping your little finger not get ripped off in a crash.

Jeremy McWilliams has also lost his little finger.

I didn't find it a problem personally.

I have the Stella GP Plus and they have the same arrangement. I found it very odd to start with but perservered and now find it quite unnerving wearing my winter gloves with full finger motion! Confused

I would say give it a while if you can, as it's been done for a reason, but if not, they're your gloves and you need to be happy. It won't affect the gloves as such, as it's only a small leather strip joining them not the actual finger seam.

What make and model are they? I almost bought the Held lobster claw gloves but went for the Freezer glove instead, twice the cost but they look like proper gloves. Think i might get a lobster glove for this winter.
