This beastie cranks out 202 bhp and tops out with a 320 lb man at 212 mph. It is a street legal dragster... and belongs to one of my club mates, tell me what you think.

What's the handling like with that extended swing arm?

Mr C - time for some of your tales of how we Limey's treat the Nip's finest I think.

(thats if you can stop laughing at only 202bhp long enough to type) Razz

I think 212mph is extremely unlikely with only 202bhp, especially with an extended swinging arm - show me the tickets and I'd be more inclined to believe it

our experience has been that power + stretch = wheelspin and not a lot more

I watched a 50 shot, gased busa (220bhp) with an arm like that do 15 runs in may and never get past 185mph on the timing lights - on the speedo he was doing 205 (estimated for speedo error)

I also know 300bhp turbos that haven't gone that fast

anyway it's a busa so it's butt ugly whatever

It has to be limited at 202 bhp in order to be street legal, so keep laughing. They will be going for the Bonneville street legal land speed record and doing so with a female driver.

0 to 155 in 9.3 seconds, not sure what the 0 to 60 MPH is, but the 0 to 60 Ft. is 1.4 seconds.

We actually have corners in this country, so even with huge power, you'd look plenty silly on a tight mountain hairpin! Laughing

and I watched that one totally shred a back tyre running 24psi boost (450bhp) at 222mph

next time I think they are going back to stock wheelbase

anyhoo scswat, what has been done to the buggly in the picture to make 202 bhp

big bore, big ports, new valves, new cams, silly comp ratio what?

I see stuff like this all the time so I'm a natural sceptic Rolling Eyes
