New mod 2 test

Hello, been told by my instructor this morning that mod 2 is changing on 4th October, something about being given several instructions at once.

My test is on the 14th so am a touch concerned about it, anyone else heard about this or have anymore info?

There's an independant riding part to the test from then, where the instructor will ask you to find your way to a part of town using road signs, etc. and without him saying, "Turn left ahead," and the such like.

I assume the "several instructions at once" bit comes from the fact that they might tell you the route before you set off on it but it's supposted to be a sign-posted route so the idea would be to follow that anyway.

yeah i heard about that one coming in, seems to make sense. but after all, could just go and buy a sat nav... not for your test just pointing out its eventual irrelevance as a testing subject.

i heard its changing in oct but did not no when..

i asked the test man when i did my mod1 he said he thinks its stupid he said they will show you a map at first then you need to get to that place.

I think it could be a good idea as it can be a pain waiting for the test man to tell you where to go.
