It doesn't sound illegal, more like your employer has a responsibility for your well being. I wouldn't complain at a free gym membership, or time off to get healthy Razz

Classic example of a headline being a complete exaggeration to the point of lying.

I think it's a good idea to single people out and encourage them to do something about their weight. As long as the threshold is set above my size of course. Otherwise, it would be an infringement on civil liberties.

If it was done in this country for everyone who was a bit overweight, it would cost a fortune, but maybe for the to 10% of fatties it would be a good idea.

However in this country employers are a bit less kind to employees, so if they had to pay fines on fat workers, they wouldnt be handing out gym memberships, they would be looking for excuses to hand out p45s.
