Just got back from doing my Mod 2 and I passed with one minor. which was for nearly taking the wrong turnoff at a roundabout. Absolutely SOAKED but happy as ever Very Happy was a lovely feeling taking those L plates off. Now to find myself something bigger Smile test was over surprisingly quickly which was a relief. at first when i realised we were close to the test centre again i thought "shit have i done something wrong and he's brought me back because i'm a danger" i have no confidence in my abilities, so it was BRILLIANT hearing "you've passed"

Exactly what I was thinking, My gramps all he had to do was the bike test which is just like today's module 2 in that he didn't have to do manouvers back then!

Anyway, congratulations GlenBen Smile I am dreading the tests Very Happy

Well done mate Thumbs Up

I had my mod 2 today too and after 5 minutes on the road he pulled me into a car park and told me to wait there for my instructor, he cancelled the test "because of all the standing water and gusty wind" he didn't fault my riding (I didn't really have chance to f**k-up) and I had been out all day in the same weather conditions Evil or Very Mad

My test was originally booked for half 1. It was moved forward to 5 past 1 a few weeks ago because that spot opened up and we thought "might as well" turns out the half 1 test got cancelled due to weather. i was the last test to go ahead. so i'm one lucky motherfucker. was soaked and very heavily raining though

Oh and something i forgot to mention.. he only pulled me over once on the entire test. told me to pull up behind a car. maybe because i pulled so close very confidently then didn't hesitate pulling away, he was satisfied with that? lost him in traffic for pretty much half of the test as well. a massive chunk of the A1 was 20mph traffic and he was about 10 cars behind. Gave me a brilliant opportunity to compose myself and relax abit

Well done on the pass. I know what you mean about the dreaded "have I failed" feeling. I failed mod 2 twice and on the third time the examiner took me to where they do the hill start and there was a whacking great big council road work van blocking the lane with one of them blue arrow signs instructing me to use the oncoming traffic lane. I pulled up just before the van and waited until I had a gap, Pulled out and passed.

After about 10 minutes I realised we were very close to the test centre and the sinking feeling that I had failed again came. I walked into the test centre shaking and pissed off with myself and almost collapsed when the examiner told me I had passed. I could have hugged her but she wouldnt let me!

So well done on the pass
