I got a Samsung Wave in August on contract, every now and again i get a 'blue screen of death' on it, usually sorted by removing the battery and restarting it.
It went tits up again today and refuses to work properly.
I intend to take it to the shop tomorrow, but i want a replacement phone.
Im unwilling to accept for it to be sent off for repair as my wifes old phone was forever being sent off only to take 3 weeks to come back either not repaired or damaged in some way.
What are my rights?

as its under 12 months old they will have to send it direct to samsung to be repaired, if its a fault with the phone, just dont go near carphone warehouse, they sent off my fiance's HTC HD2 and they lost it!! they claimed that it was never sent off then they had got it but not got it back from repair - took the complaint to the regional manager and got a brand spanking new samsung galaxy! so if in dout speak to a manager and if needs be take it further and complain all the way - use the whole sale of acts good 1997 "item must be fit for purpose" if you have any problems give me a shout and im sure i can help! |
