Just text my ex whose first language is afrikaans this so will see what it really means..

EDIT:

it means

"Dont know why thet call them "family In Law" because I cannot stand the bloody things, especially not the Sister In Law"

Aparantly in afrikaans the word for "in-law's" translates to "clean" therefore a literal translation would be "clean sister"
