Hmm, since that older post I've added a few. Got 'any bike' now so I'm more keen to take things out for a spin. Rob's Speed Triple, MarJay's Daytona, G's RS250 and DR600, Danny's Thundercat, Kev's CBR, Korn's R1... I think that's about it. Wasn't brave enough to try Alex's Bros Laughing and time conspired against a go on Ste's TL.

Nice thing is that I can actually take them out for a semi-'proper' ride rather than faffing about being concerned about the illegalness (I'm quite law abiding really) of the whole thing. Particularly liked the RS250. G says if I can make a replica out of cake, with fully working engine, he'll give me his RS for my birthday. Very Happy

Haven't actually had a go on a R6 yet, as people keep breaking them before I get a shot Rolling Eyes so that's on the list... and I would like a go on Harman's VFR800 cos I thought about buying one once and it would be interesting to try it. Oh, and Keith's UberBandit. Very Happy

What I've got my eye on the most, however, is dude at work's new Caterham 7. Drooling

Erm in no particular order

Owned
Derbi Gpr 50
Suzuki Goose 350
Yam XJ 600
Hartford Legion 125

Ridden repeatedly/for a long time
GSXR 600
Ktm 250
Race set up KX 100 - Best fun ever! *explained below
VFR400 Nc24
GS 1150 with adventure extras - FUCKING HEAVY... avoid like plague!

Ridden once/a few short times in carparks
Rs 50
Fs1-e -pathetic
Italjet Formula -pathetic
Dt 50 -pathetic

So far the best has had to have been the gsxr 600 altho on ride outs i beat him through traffic everytime since me on the goose is about 2 foot, and him on the gixer is at least 3 foot knees and all.

*It was set up to have a really slim racing powervalve, how you could have raced it i have no idea but you pulled off in first, toodled to about 15mph and about 7-8k rpm then suddenly powerband ... whoosh up on one wheel and it rocketed to 45 through the gears with the front floating about, landed then caned all the way to 70. It was so much fun, and felt so easy.
