Hi, Does anybody know where I can buy a stainless steel exhaust manifold for my little gsxer. Mine is rusted and would prefer a sexy ss one on it Smile?

Like Blue says, unless they used them in the formula 400 race series i doubt there will be and production SS down pipes.

But no harm in looking!

Now I am confused.

I just need new downpipes which I thought was called the Manifold O.o

Fabricated headers, I take it thats to do with where the exhaust pipes attach onto engine? Sorry Im still learning Smile

Please explain and give me clue what to search for!

Hi

Downpipes, headers, etc. Names for the bit you want.
Trouble is that the design of them is quite complex and very important. Quite easy to lose a load of power from poorly designed ones (the lengths, diameters and how they join and the order they join is the important bit).

There are people around who can make up stainless systems but they will probably be best off copying what you already have.

All the best

There used to be someone that made them on the 400GreyBike forum. Unsure if he still does them though. Road and Track was the company name I think. Best to ask on the 400GB forum. Stripes1976 would know if he still uses that forum.
