Just got a new bike and noticed the oiler is missing the jet/needle that that transfers the oil from the tube near the swing arm to the bottom of the sprocket, the only thing is there are no markings on it so i have no idea what it is so i can download a serivce manual or find that particualr part.

If no one can identify it can someone explain to me the basic principals behind it.

The Yellow tube goes from the top and loops straight into the top of the number plate mount, the clear tube goes down to the rear sprocket and the black tube goes to an oil feed/vacuum at the carbs?

Any help would eb much appreciated Thumbs Up

It's a scotoiler touring kit.

If it's got the clear tube leading aloing the swingarm, it's just missing a short bit of black plastic tube of the same sort that is going to the carb.

You cut a piece long enough to run from the end of the clear tube to just resting on the sprocket at the 6 o' clock position (usually just a couple of inches). Heat one end with a lighter to make it melt slightly into a mushroom shape so it grips in the pipe better.

They often go missing because they can get caught in the chain if you go over a big bump and are ripped out.

If there is plenty of slack, you could even pinch a bit off the pipe running to the carb.
