IIRC my ts50 didn't have any removable restriction in the exhaust, I think there were supposed to be some in the spanny but it involved cutting it open and welding it back together.

I just stuck to 30mph in the end.

Changing the pipe makes little difference as the porting and carb throat are so miniscule. Unless you are prepared to go down the route of porting / bigbore / larger carb etc etc then you won't be going much faster.

TL:DR - No such thing as a free lunch.

If you use super unleaded in it you can add about 15-16 bhp.

Go to your local bike shop and ask them whether they have any second hand green powerbands lying about.

They may well be able to sort you out with one for not alot of money.

Move up to a green when you feel ready.

if it were mine, i would get a complete exhaust system
and port it to increase flow, change out the carb to something a bit larger, probably increase the compression a bit
there is plenty you can do, big bore etc as well

TS100ER engine transplant maybe?
I'd much rather have a bigger TS125X or TSR, but if you want to keep the little TS50, a bigger engine swap is your best way of getting some more speed out of it IMO.
