Lions are strange things. You can use the same context to cats. One minute they are being playful and lovely- the next their claws are out and they wanna bite your face off!

I guess you can say the same for Zoo's too.

I do think keeping animals inside small cages/tanks is wrong, if they're being 'trained' to eventually get back into the wild then fine but spending their entire lives in a zoo isn't right. An animal needs to stretch its legs, explore, kill etc.

I don't even like when people keep pet birds in cages.

Wild animals, are wild.
I love going to a Zoo to see the tigers ect ect but also feel sad that they are kept the way they are.
Seaworld in Orlando, fantastic, but sad to see them in captivity.
If they attack, they attack, they shouldnt be penalised.
Ive never been to a circus, and I doubt I will because I think its crule to 'train' an animal from the wild to entertain us.
Seen a fair few vids of said 'animal' attacking trainer... well, what am I to say.. you knew the risks.

I've stroked Tigers and was inwardly bricking it at the time. On showing people pictures a lot just say "Pfft, you can completely tame them so that's nothing'. So now every time i see a video of a 'tame' big cat fucking someone up i feel confident in the knowledge that they were talking bollocks

If they'd not had those water hoses near by the guy would have been dead.

The moral of the story, is if you are going to get in an animals face enough times, and its bigger than you, it's going to warn you to back off, and if you don't take the warning you had better be ready for consequences.

Makes good entertainment for the rest of us though.

Having watched the good quality version where you can actually see what's going on, i think the lions were more rough playing than going in for the kill. They seem more interested in getting at the poles and the guys arms than getting their paws on the head and teeth in the neck. Usually lions kill by breaking your neck or biting into the artery in your neck... though they are lazy and often docile, surprisingly they're rather good at killing
