Are they as dull as the rep? What are the panniers like for size? I need something decent for commuting long distances in a couple of months, about the only 600 shaft drive going in my price range. After that its stuff like k100s.

Looks a tidy enough bike. Should do what you need. Enjoy it and stay shiny side up Thumbs Up

I really like these. First came across them when I was learning to ride a bike - this is what the instructors use.

The kinda remind me of a wee baby Honda Pan European. Actually looked at getting one myself but decided against it.

Maybe have a look at buying one next summer for touring on.

Could you please let us know what they are like for touring after you do your wee tour of Scotland ? Because I would really like to know for future reference.

I have heard that they are slightly underpowered (dont know much about the power of engine right enough), but surely they cant be that heavy to compete with the 600cc engine, so let us know about that too would you?

Cheers.

P.S. - Nice bike. Wink

Well so far so good, not too bad Thurso to Biggar in 6 hours with a 1 stop at Kingussie, bit of a sore arse at one point but all okay after a quick strech.

Kept up with all the traffic no problem on the motorway, could have done with a little more power but all in all very impressed.

Will let you knwo how i got on when i get back
