Okay,
So I have my bike battery here, Nay to happy either, sitting around 12.15v.
The batter is a *Nitro* YTX5L-BS and not really all that old to be honest, I suspect that a lot of my riding lately has been at night and fannying about with the starter motor hasn’t helped matters much either...
With that being said I am going to be going over the bike's regulator and what not to be sure that there isn’t a problem elsewhere leading to this situation I have here.
Any who, for now (this evening at least), my batteries about as far down this table I have here (acquired from
here ) as I would like to see it sooooo.

I have a trickle charger pushing out a whopping 300mA and I am wondering how long to leave it on charge?
Also coming from a modelling background I'm pretty well versed in lipos and other such but know very little about these kinds of batteries...
Would cycling it do any good? Should I just charge it, throw it back in, carry on checking out the rest of the bike and come back in a couple of days to see how it’s doing?
Would the fact the battery tray (or box really) was half full or water have affected the battery itself (DIY draining holes to fix that!).
Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
