I went to the Eurogamer Expo in London last week, played GT5 on the Nurburgring, Laguna Seca and Suzuka Circuits...

AMMMMAAAAAZZZZZIIIIIINNNNGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


I spoke to a few of the staff members who obviously played the game when the expo was being set up, and they didn't mention anything about car customisation options... I am properly properly excited about this game, have had it on pre-order for a while now, just hope it gets delivered on time...

Spoke to someone else who claimed it was crap.

What was the car, and what were the tyres?

Well i had been holding off for the same reasons after having been disappointed so many times before but is surely too close and well advertised now for them to delay again??

The previous dates were "speculated" release dates.

It's a policy of Polyphony to not officially release a date until they're sure they can hit it. Since 5/11 is the official date that IS when it'll be coming.

Cool, I didn't realise that. I thought it was a bit of a con them bringing out the Prologue to be honest.

I've pre-ordered it now from ShopTo.net because they are doing a competition to win a race day. https://www.shopto.net/LANDING/GT5
Never used them before though, so probably just been scammed.

Shopto are genuine and consistently ship early, however the release date has been put back again, before Christmas is the current estimate Rolling Eyes
