Currently rebuilding my Derbi and after a new clutch. Can't seem to find a standard one anywhere but I can find heavy duty race ones. Will it be okay to fit one of these on my bike, as its a race one not standard? It is completely standard apart from I have a metrakit exhaust coming (de-restricted).

Just like this:

The top one.

Thankyou! Mr. Green

AFAIK a race clutch will have a fairly small bite to it, and is heavy duty to cope with big torque(not from your bike Wink), i expect it'll be rather 'jumpy' from the line.

Just spoke to the father and he said not definately but would be good to get them, if possible.

What do they actually do? And how would I tell if I need them?

Thanks guys Thumbs Up

Pffft. My manual is absolutely shocking. The worst I have ever seen, infact. So its looking like i should replace them then. Most things on this bike haven't been done since new. Infact pretty much everything :/

Got the clutch and the rest of the engine together but thats another story Laughing

I need to get the actual mount that the lever (on the bars) sits on. Cant find it anywhere apart from DerbiScooterSpares.com and they are like 50-60 quid. That company sells parts directly from the manufacturer though if you get me. For example for 3 gasket washers for my calipers bleed valve was (with postage) £7 :rolls:

Any ideas where I could get this? I will be needing an adjuster aswell as that is bent. That is the reason why I am actually after a new lever mount as its fucking ruined the threads Evil or Very Mad

So any ideas? Sad

Thumbs Up

Gasket washers as in copper washers? Pennies if not from a dealer. I've got a small bag of them, I would have sent you some for nothing.

These arent copper, they are like soft aluminium (I think) so that they form a seal from the brake fluid.

Yours may have done though Laughing

Oh and Chris, I have tried quite a lot. Just wondered if anyone new any particular sites or had found one.

The most I can find is one for a 125 but I emailed him and he said it wouldn't fit :/

May ring a breakers tomorrow but its not a horribly popular bike.
