OK, picture the scene - there I am riding to Donington on Sunday in the inside lane of dual carriageway following my other half.
A car decides to overtake us (fine, no probs) but I notice that he slows after passing me. Looking ahead I can see 4 ducks sitting in his lane. Car slows again so he's beside me, then swerves into my lane to avoid the ducks!
Luckily I'd anticipated this and had already moved over in case he decided to value the ducks over me so there was no harm done, but what a wanker!!
OK, the ducks may have made a bit of a mess of the front of his car, but nothing compared to an SV650! Shocked

Well, ducks are quite cute and look better alive than squashed on the road!

Seriously, it was probably just an automatic reaction. Good job you had your wits about you too. Thumbs Up

I am sure Cathy would also look better alive than squashed on the road! Laughing
Personally I think Car drivers have little appreciation of there peripheral surroundings and only concentrate on the bit of road in front of them.
At least you had managed to anticipate what they were going to do.

Pah, what you doing let a car overtake you for anyway?

You should have sped up, hit the duck, and taken it home for a nice dinner.
