Probably a bit chavvy but on some suzuki bikes there's a thin strip of colour that goes around the tyre that matches the colour of the bike (sports bikes).

anyone seen anything similar on tyres but rather than a strip of paint, either glow in the dark or neon?

Search 'Rim Tape' it goes on the wheel not the tyre.

Tron will always be cool.

The motrax ones in the link in my previous post apparantly reflect. Unsure how good they are though.

Go to ebay and search for reflective rim tape and try to get ones that are pre-curved to fit your rims. The last thing you WANT is that motrax one! They're OK but it's a bit of a hassle to try and get them to curve the way you want. I had some remaining so I ended up using them for pin striping.

any of them will do nicely. I had a set from my ZX6R in white and it did the job nicely.

most sign shops can do this for you, i can make it with my vinyl cutter but i only do it for myself / mates.
Reflective grade vinyl has foil / glass inside it (like road signs) to reflect light.
BUT...if you look around you can get glow in the dark vinyl (i have a small amount of this) but i dont think it would last as long as glow products have a life span and the vinyl is thicker thank normal.

I had glow in the dark timtape with my manufacturers logo on it which is the most modern form of rimtape and looks cool.

rimtape is now getting more creative than just circles too!
