milton keynes parking?

I'll be parking from 3:45-8:45 (idealy) in milton keynes...
but where is a good place i can leave the bike that it wont get nicked?

All i have to stave the rampent mobs off my beloved hunk'a'junk is a disk lock and two hefty (but not invincible) locks/chains...

I always feel that multi stories are safer (not sure why though Neutral).

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

If you mean in the centre of Milton Keynes, there are plenty of bike specific places with big bars to lock your bike to. They are mainly situated near the doors into the main shopping centre building.

My favourite place is up at the end by the Marks & Sparks building. Its actually a push bike park but a lot of people park their motorbikes there. Its always busy so anyone fingering the bikes stands out. Also there is a small plod station across the way with a plod car/van usually parked outside.

I have also been told (by someone who works for MK council a few years ago) you can park for free in any of the council parking places. round the shopping centre as long as they are not disabled. But I usually chain mine up in one of the cycle blocks .

Left my bike there for a good part of the day, all went fine, it was there when i got back, couldnt have gone better haha!

Supprisingly easy to get to that place to be honest, wonder why i havnt ventured up there before, will deffinatly head over there again some time, absoloutly crazy big complex!
