The indicators on the CBR serve a very good purpose that is when you drop it they absorb lots of energy of a drop! Peter has a 99 CBR with cat eye flush mounts though. Problem is the indicator mount is dead funny and mounted in such a way there is a fair bit of overlap from the root of the stalk. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. Yer, I can imagine the bike being fully supported by them, they are a tad on the huge side. Cat eyes like the flushmounts?
Eso, that the exact undertray I have Its why I want to match it up a bit more by replacing the front ones! |

On a very slightly similar vein.
The indicators on my XS400 are/were HUGE! and when I got the bike they were broken.
so I decided to put smaller after-market jobbies on.
The problem is that you need to match the bulb wattage/loading to that of the flasher relay, or the indicator wont flash properly.
so I had to go and find the right wattage bulbs that fitted into my new indicators and that was`nt as easy as I thought it was going to be.
A car spares shop came to the rescue in the end.
just a thought! ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |
