is anyone interested in a 1983 suzuki rm80 (one of the first watercooled motocross bikes) that im currently selling as its taking up room in my garden. got its priced up couple weeks ago nd its worth 300-350 quid. and it is the big wheel version.
will ost pic if wanted.

also if you look at the eby links at the bottom of the page thoses are the smaller versions of the bike mine is the larger one.
but just a personal question as well does 350quid for the bike (it runs no problems)seem chep as its a big 80cc compared to the little 80cc's out there i mean theres one on ebay at the moment thats smaller than mine and is also around the same age and he wants 700quid for it. what are your opinions?

In the end, older bikes are going to be less desirable to most for quite a few reasons.

Money you're asking doesn't seem unreasonable for a working bike a kid can get on and ride - though it's possible that at this price point a small wheel might actually sell better as a 'first bike' for a kid.

In the end though, if you've tried advertising in a few places and can't get that money for it, it's going to be a case of reduce price or wait. This isn't really the ideal time of year for it.
If it was a bit newer, I might be interested for the suspension, but looking for relatively modern stuff for a project.

well that does sound fair really as for reducing the price though is somthing im not gonna do as its cheap enough and the smaller bikes do sell so i shouldnt see why mine shouldnt get interest from ebayers, it got a half run in new piston and rebore to add, so yeah but ideal for people wanting to learn clutch and gears is all i used it for and i agree it is the wrong time of year to be selling but i need to sell it on to get my road bike so i have no choice but to sell it at the current time, i built this bike from a non-runner to a runner as a little project as well so i had a good time with it lol
