It looks like you`ve done a great job on that!
I`ve always liked the GPZ 500 and always wanted one.

I had a paint shop owe me a favour...so called it in on this one!
It's not mint (which I knew it wouldn't be- as I asked them to throw bright paint at it and not to bother prepping the panels any further at all)
I did the prep work myself (including some melted lego brick repairs on the broken and craked bits) and just gave it all a quick rubdown with one of those pan scourer type pads (after weeks of paint stripping the multi layered shite off)
have to say I was speechless when he turned up with the panels and threw the rear doors of the van open to reveal the colour (which up till that point had been entirely up to them and a pleasant surprise for me)
Have since added a Fender extender on the front and a set of fork protectors and a fake carbon tank spine type protector (I still cannot work out if its abit tacky or OK...either way its better than zip scratches I guess)
Have a mate with a yinyl plotter/cutter and will eventually get some Kawasaki stickers on the tank (the hold up is me deciding whether white or black)
Just bagged the mid fairing pieces on ebay, so will do them a contrasting colour to break the colour up a bit
Not decided if white / black or purple will look the best..I may have to play with photoshop
Intending to make a mould of the mid fairing parts first though and bang a couple of sets out on eBay as they were not easy to find at a sensible price...and could do with honing my glassing skills as the kit car is in dire need of some repairs
Think the exhaust could do with replacement soon so am eyeballing the stainless jobbies on eBay..but am finding it hard to justify mega wonga on the bike and I intend to get full VFM with jubilee clips/coke can strips and the welder first
@guitarcarfanatic
Glad your still enjoying the CG!
Look after her and she'll look after you
keep the oil change and valve clearence schedules up and the chain oiled and it'll out live us both...LOL
The GPZ is fulfilling my every want from a motorbike and more
Its a brilliant restricted machine and not really felt like I need to take the restrictors out early...yet
Poor old CJ360t has barely moved since I got the GPZ back and TBH last I rode it it felt proper poop in comparison so I guess I should really sell it on as I'm simply not motivated to ride it anymore..perhaps it's sale will buy me a shiney new stainless exhaust system for the Geepers?
Regards

and some pics of the mid fairings...
Colour suggestions (or the clever lot with photoshop!) welcomed
Yellow is just as bad IMHO
The nosecone on the kit car seems to attract them
Have left the bike by the car and will have a look in a bit and report back which is the most insect attracting between the two....LOL

Had a set of fairing infills like that with my 1991 GPZ. Not sure how they compare with other models, but they looked just the same as those Pyramid ones...
....in fact when I saw the pics in the OP, I thought that was my old bike (a DIY respray in "stealth" / satin black) ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N
