surely this is utter tosh? if it DOES throw as much more air into the engine as it says, surely without an upjetting it'd run lean and therefore hot :S

however, i can't see this doing anything. someone brave wanna try it?

If anybody does want to buy one to try it out, can I also interest you in my 35% power increase device which is less than half the price of that one?

Sure, it looks like it's just a peg and a jack of clubs, but wait till you hear how it makes your bike sound! Thumbs Up

Reminds me of when I was 16.
We had the brilliant idea of supercharging a twist & go moped engine with the 6v motor out of a tamiya Radio-Control car & the propeller off a model aeroplane.......
We did however consider the jetting problem, so opted for a 'suck-through' arrangement.......
Didn't work.....
The magneto didn't make enough amps to power the electric motor!

There are electric superchargers that really work. This isn't one of them.

At a race meet I "supercharged" a generator using an air bed pump - had the pump attached to the 12v output of the genny, and directed it at the air intake. The genny revved extremely high for about 10secs, then the pump set on fire Laughing

Suspect most of the time a spinning fan on the intake is flowing so little that it is providing a restriction.

You need to find a positive displacement supercharger thats engine driven at or faster than engine speed for it to be any good or worth considering for your CG.

Axial fans are IMO totally useless for the purpose of supercharging, irrespective of how they are driven. Centrifugal compressor's are a possibility, but on all low boost and not particulary high revving engines, then nothing at all can beat a positive displacement charger, irrespective of drag and bhp they require to drive them.
