Basically I opened my carburettor to inspect and clean it a little bit.
One of the bolts was slightly rounded off and I had had to get the pilers to remove it.
Now I'm looking to replace the unusable screw. So far I've been to my local farmers supply's, mechanic and even the D.I.Y store.
No luck as you've probably guessed.
The screw is number 48. on this image:

I'm now at a complete loss of where to get a replacement bolt.
Would Suzuki be able to get me this part or is anyone here able to get there hands on this bolt?If anyone knows where to get a new bolt could you kindly let me know.
Many thanks, Face. ____________________ GP100(Sold), GS125, CB250RS, GS500E, KTM125SX, XJ600S. |

That looks like a screw/bolt that holds the bottom of the float bowl on, yes?
They should be ten-a-penny and you should be able to get one from any Suzuki dealer.
It`s a fairly universal screw/bolt that is used on a lot of Jap carbs on a wide variety of bikes.
as long as you have the old one, you could take it to any screw & bolt suppliers and get them to match it. ____________________ I am the sum total of my own existence, what went before makes me who I am now! |
