ZZR oil cooler crack

The hex nut/fitting on oil cooler is split both sides.
Where the bolt goes into rad through banjo.
It looks like ally, can't find a replacement cooler within 200 miles so do you think getting it welded and put a jubilee clip around it for extra support would be a good enough fix?

Hi

Welding it up might work, but suspect you would need a pretty good welder to do it (and suspect they might need to know the grade of alloy used before they started). Suspect they might find it easier to cut off the old nut and weld a new one in place.

Think this may be under control.
Found one on ebay for £40 ono, emailed, offered £50 including special next day saturday delivery.

Had email back within 5 mins saying yes and including phone number.

Should be here by 1pm tomorrow so bike can be on it's way to Scotland in the afternoon, here's hoping eh!
