So there are people out there unaware that bikes have a stand, we just prop them up against walls whenever we get off......

It looks like a Cagiva Planet....
The bain of the italian spring-loaded side stand perhaps?
That WPC probably spent twenty five minutes trying to prop it up before they decided to charge the makers with 'wasting police time' Smile
Mind you, did make me wonder whether the bike had any influence in the scroat getting mobbed.
I mean, he probably nicked that one specially, thinking fast-bike = quick get-away', without taking into account the notoriouse Iti-electrics...... BEFORE cutting the ignition switch off.....
He was probably engrossed in yelling at the damn thing.. trying to get it to start....... probably becouse the side-stand was up, but teh side-stand kill switch hadn't popped out!

But hats off to the angry shoppers, shame they never got all the cretins.

Maybe his feet had over heated after he'd tried to 'hot-foot-it' away from the scene....
Or the glistening white socks were so he could show the cops.... a clean pair of heels...
Or perhaps it was why he got cought..... he got cold feet!
Or he was just a completely soul-less criminal....
Maybe Some-one shouted "Get that toe-rag!"
Could, of course have been why he was doing the blag, he was down on his luck and out on his uppers....
Maybe they cought the criminal, but lost the shoes..... police are still looking for a pair of down at heel running shoes with a strong irish brogue.... when they catch them they intend to pump them for information...... rumour has it that they are placing survailence on all the harbours..... they think they may be Dockers........ but then this may be all a load of cobblers.....
