there are some companies that do accept bike ncb such as churchill
but you can't use the same ncb on your bike, ncb only applies to one policy.

Hate to bump this back up, with the negitivity of the post.
Im looking for car insurance also,
Im 27 next week Evil or Very Mad Had a provisional licence since 2000, took lessons - gave up and become a biker Cool Smile
However, im looking to do my licence again, but im getting stupid quotes - 2K TPFT on a 1 liter pug Embarassed Confused
Ive been told I can use my bike NCB ( 3 years ) altho been riding 6! (insurance messed up loads, thus loosing 3 years ncb)
So if I use my 3 years Nbc from my bike to put towards a cars insurance, I cant use my 3 years ncb on a new bike (which I look to get by december)
Im really confused, I was thinking of just goin TPFT insurance on my girlfriends car, but relise I wont get any ncb on my own. Confused

Buy a Lupo or a Yaris...
Both 1 litre and not considered boy racer cars, new licence holders at 17 can insure these for around 1k Wink

Aim anything but fiesta/corsa/106/206/clio/ka...they all tend to be ragged/very high insurance.

Also the bike ncb > car ncb is a bit of a grey area. You wont be able to use them on the bike AND the car..either one of them only.
They dont make that much difference on the car and going through quotes...if you say you had your full car licence for <1 month it wont allow you to put in any number of NCB.

Just build them on a car policy, but as I said, try looking at VW Lupo or Toyota Yaris.. do a few quotes on fully comp.. you may be suprised Thumbs Up

Lol, passed my test in one, was perfect for just driving round. The hire car I have at the moment is awful, despite its great reviews
