Changing exhaust-Yam aerox 100

Hi,

I have changed the exhaust on a Yamaha Aerox 100 as the previous one rusted to bits and fell off.

There did not appear to be any gaskety type thing on the old one so I just fitted the new one as is.

Its definitely a fair bit louder than it should be now, would you recommend using anything to give a better seal and if so what?

Check for exhaust gas leaks around where you attached it to the engine. Exhausts produce different noise levels.

So I take it there must of been a gasket in there to start with which is now f*cked. I will have a look, thanks

the gasket is usually buried under crud and carbon on the exhaust port of the engine, your need to lever out the old one.

Also your have an exhaust leak at the head and loss of power too
