Me Very Happy

Just did my car test after 4 lessons, got 2 minors.

I HATE driving a car though! You can't see round right hand bends because you are on the wrong side of the road and have a great big metal pillar in the way!

But it will be nice for the winter Smile

Car driving is fun. In a decent car.

Unfortunately hardly anyone drives a decent car, and certainly not just after they have passed their test.

Biking is fun even on a C90.... unless its raining. Its all swings and roundabouts.

I remember my car test. Had 6 minors then I got knee down on a roundabout so he scored them all out and gave me a mega-license and a 50p off coupon for McDonalds.

Congrats. Thumbs Up

More fun on proper twisty roads, imo.

Hmmmm, can be, but rarely within posted limits Twisted Evil

On the whole, since I got a bike, trying to drive a car quickly on the road seems.... just...... unsatisfying..... frustrating Confused

The bike makes traffic less of a problem and corners more of a challenge (posted limits may or may not enter in to it Wink ). Commuting by bike is a kick every day, by car a slog.

I enjoy car track days still though; I may get onto bike ones sometime but I'm more likely to take some advanced training first - road first, then I'd want some proper training in cornering etc on track (I always book an instructor session on car days at a new track, too).

I am soon to get a job that is 10 miles away from home.

How is the c90 as a commuter? I want something cheap so I can keep the miles lower on my Ninja.

Any way of posting the caged biker link in the general section or this thread so we can all access it?
