I believe the problem we had with the chicken strips was that they were running to the edge of the front tyre way before they were the back, so I decided to quit attempting knee down due to the high risk of losing the front, you how ever are stupid! |

Since the back tyre is generally wider than the front, the front is bound to reach the edge first. I suspect your problem if any was because you adjusted the chain incorrectly, thus resulting in your back wheel being out of alignment.
Either way, I didn't crash shaun's bike, and I wasn't even close to kd so stop your whining |

@ Shaun. Not sure of your logic though Mike. I always have some chicken strips on the front yet usually have little on the back |

You were close to knee down, the front tyre reaches the edge after the rear normally, as my gixxer has demonstrated and you thrashed the ZXR, back firing it and all sorts, you rode it like you stole it, I wouldn't let Mike have a go on my bike ever again! |

You did the left one on sunday because I wouldn't let you use my right one and I haven't put it on my knee since then so.
Thats the last time I let you use one of my knee sliders, which you asked for! |

Only crashed a hire bike on a lesson. Was winter and I hit the frozen snow/sludge in between the car tracks.
I did make a mess of a Hornet once too.
And Shaun.... Ya fanny You can go the other way round roundabouts too y'know ____________________ Back on a Blade. Just feels so right. |

Doesn't really matter if you were or were not close to crashing it, the owner of the bike was uneasy about it and there was a known problem with the handling on it so pushing it without their permission is generally not a good plan. Yup you did not crash it, which is a good thing, but the owner will probably be reluctant to let you borrow any of their bikes again if they were left under the impression you nearly crashed their bike and pushed it against their say so.
Just my on that situation.
Never crashed anyone elses bike myself, unless you count minimoto's . |

Haven't got any quiet roundabouts around here to do that dean, I have also discovered that I got my knee down easier and more on the track, for some reason I can't do it easily on roundabouts. |

me and borrowed bikes have some history
when i was knocked off my nsr i was given a courtesy bike...this happened to be a honda city fly....
City fly number 1
I broke the clutch cable doing wheelies and managed to break the head bearings as well ......... oh and apparently the "gear selector" was broken (ho-hum) nothing to do with me riding it with no clutch for 2 days waiting for a new one to be delivered
new city fly delivered
City fly number 2
I actually calmed down a bit with this one cos i was worried about my damage deposit......but that didn't last long, as i managed to go over the handle bars stoppying the thing bending the bars and breaking the break lever
Luckily for me tho when the guy came to pick it up...he dropped it off the ramp whilst loading it into the van...so i wasn't blamed for the damage and kept my deposit
This was the bad one tho
My nsr was being repaired (new fairings fitted) so i borrowed my mates kawasaki er-5 to keep me occupied whilst my nsr was being sorted. I was very careful with it cos i knew my mate was trusting me etc etc.
Well after riding the thing for the best part of 2 hours i noticed it had a broken front indicator......this caused me to panic, thinking i had done it somehow...a lot, so i rushed it down to southampton kawasaki to find out if they could fit one, well they never had one "but we can get one it in...3 days?" i explained the situation and they range there sister shop in poole, who luckily had one, so i rushed down to poole...got it fitted and rushed back to my mates house.
He took one look at the bike and said "what happened to the indicator?" i replied...erm nothing, what u talking about. he then explained how the bike had fallen over in a carpark (bike meet) in alton and had broken the indicator
obviously i hadn't spotted it when i got on the bike, i explained what i had done and that it had cost me around £70 in fuel and indicator
how much of a tit did i feel ____________________ Bikes owned :- 2001 nsr125, 1999 zx6r, 2006 yzf-r1, 2009 xmax 250, 2012 yzf-r1, 2015 MT-07
