Hey,

No idea if it possible on my bike or what the options would be.. all i know is i don't really like the mirrors on my CBF125.
Think its possible to replace them with something a little less... buggish?
And is it a good idea? These mirrors do give a good view of the road behind but if i could get something with the same field of view that looks better.. Smile

Yeah modern mirror threads are normally a universal size.
I didn't have any at all on mine so I order some from here for £20.

Take a look see what you think, good for £20 Hey!

Be careful with cheap mirrors. The issue tends to be they are too light so are badly affected by vibrations.
The vast majority of after market cheap mirrors I have used have been much worse than the original ones - so I'd stick to the originals if they actually do the job of showing you what's behind (which a lot of bike mirrors don't!)

It's usually only the case with Yamaha's, but check that both mirror threads are normal ones before buying new mirrors. Some have an anti clockwise thread on the left mirror so the wind pressure does it up rather than undoes it.

I agree with G. Cheap aftermarket mirrors arent usually as good as OE ones.
I have found the same with indicators too - OE ones are nearly always better made and last for ever, cheap ones give up the ghost all too quickly.
