warming rs extrema up

hi just bought one off ebay due to pick up tomorrow and i read you need to let it warm up or it will seize, how long should i leave it running before i can set off or can i go straight away and go steady? bit different to my pulse adrenaline that just had a choke lol

Leave it ticking over for a few minutes and then just take it easy for a while.

Start bike, put gear on, wheel out of garage or whatever, get one, ride, change up before powerband until it reaches about 45-50degrees

Ride it away straight away and go esay until the thermostat opens. Not sure what temperature it's set to open at on the RS.

I wouldn't leave it idling to warm up personally. Warming a bike up on idle doesn't really warm it properly, and on a stroker it can lead to a fouled plug.

Start it, ride it and take it steady until it's properly warm.

Hi

On mine, start it and ride away immediately but keep the revs down until it is properly up to temperature (you will find the temperature gets up to normal then drops again as the thermostat opens before rising again).
