Slowly counting down the time til I start my new job (2 weeks and 3 days!) and I've been filling it with watching and doing as much as I can to keep me active.

Earlier I borrowed season 1 of 'FlashForward' from my brother. I watched the first episode of it when it was released on TV, but failed to continue watching it.

I have bough some relentless (ASDA had it at 2 for £2 and a 1kg bag of mixed fruit and almonds - although I doubt I'll eat even half of it). I plan on watching as many episodes as I can before crashing out.

What have you done this evening?

Went shopping to Morrisons, but got kicked out before I had finished shopping, I didn't realise it closed at 8pm. Going to watch spooks and then inbetweeners as I feel like wasting the rest of the evening away.

Mine starts yesterday... well actually Saturday...

Knocked out at rugby and felt wierd so decided to have a night in.

Nice day on Sunday and wasn't hungover for once so thought I'd take the bike out for a quick blast before I put it away for the winter. Ended up 130 miles away in Oxford. Was going to ride back up Sunday night ready for work this morning. Fuck that. Too cold. Sick day. Rode back, got back early afternoon. Cleaned the house, picked up a spare car, went to the gym, now tucked up in bed.

Lovely job. Thumbs Up

Which Tripoli, Libya or Lebanon?
Spent the evening writing a reference for a favorite ex-student. She will be our first Bengali Prime Minister.

1) Went to work for a bit.
2) Cleaned and serviced the KTM ready for the weeks riding.
3) Played UFC with my boy (he tapped out after I got him in a rather nasty 'noggin rub' ... plus he lost a round by almost kicking me in 'the peanuts')
4) Played with my new 1800 lumens cree led bike light.
(ie: turned it on and off a lot and went "oooh" quite a bit.)
5) Cooked leg of lamb and roasty pots and parsnips etc.
6) Played with my new cree light again and took some pics Thumbs Up

they came out crap ... but it looks like this:

Sounds like your guys evening is as thrill seeking and exciting as mine is. My plans have taken a temporary hold up, I have to keep an eye on my cousin for an hour as she's staying the night and will be going to bed in approx 50minutes. (folks only just told me as they were heading out to work)... Awesome Rolling Eyes

I will get it in now, pics will not be provided as she is 13

[on a side note] I have been thinking about my VFR, and remembering that it has a sheared bolt sticking out one of the exhaust holes on the front of the engine... It's pretty badly corroded in, I have a screw/bolt extractor set but I am a little doubtful if it will work.. Anyone have any advice on an easy way to get it out? I've been applying WD40 to it for a few days now whilst doing some other bits on it/in the garage [end of note]

Slept through my first two lectures and thought I should try and get to the third (slept means, in bed in pain). Hobbled along and took 35 mins to get to the building about 10 mins away. Sat down writing notes in pain, hobbled to the poker tournament busted with KK vs 79 all in pre. Hobbled back and am now in bed.
But with a nice curry that my gf had waiting for me Smile Thumbs Up

Not a lot. Rarely do. It's all about eating and chilling and catching up on stuff recorded on Freeview from the previous weeks, and catching up with the 'net if I didn't get the opportunity at work. Smile

Got up, went to town to drop the Grandad off for an eye appointment

went home, watched some subs on youtube, m13 talking about games made me realise I should go for a ride

went for a ride, paid over the odds for a full tank of petrol, and still let them keep the change

went home, tried to figure out why the bike was pulling left - needed to adjust rear wheel alignment, didn't have the right socket size so went to halfords in the car (traffic.. big mistake) realised I forgot wallet so went home got wallet

went back to halfords, got socket, got home, realised I've got the wrong size

went back on the bike (hell for leather style, was nearing closing time)

got the right size, went home, adjusted alignment. test ride, still pulling to left

ate tea, then set to work on the front brakes, stripped cleaned lubed and put back together, checked tyre pressures and rechecked rear wheel alignment

is now wondering how the hell the day has gone so fast Confused

Nothing of particular interest, had tea, stabbed a screwdriver through the fleshy bit between my thumb and forefinger, removed screwdriver and bandaged wound, nommed some walnut whips, told BCF about it Smile
