Surely with new bars at £30, a headlight at about the same and T+T it'd be worth way more than £1k unless it has some hideously high mileage?

so today i picked it up and inspected the damage
bent bars altho not obvious in this pic

so then i set about putting it right with parts of other bikes i already have
1st up handle bars off a honda dominator

headlights off an old streetfighter i broke

straghtend the brake lever carfully with a spanner and levers

i also fitted a bandit footpeg which was almost identicle to the xjr and had a go round the yard.
to my disapointment the bars still sat to the left bugger bent forks i thought
so put kettle on and had a think,i know losen off the yokes centralise the front wheel and retighten
took it up the lane its now perfect engine is smoth and strong,
needs indicators fitting and mot and shes good to go and im a happy man oh and clocks of course
