winter gloves

Can anyone recommend any winter gloves for my partner as she has been getting really cold hands over the last couple of days.

Another consideration is warmers, but the battery on her scooter is really tiny. Was wondering if her scooter would produce enough power for them (Yam Aerox 100).

Also how easy are they to fit?

Get some cheapish winter gloves and buy some thinsulate golves to wear underneath

and they are cosy warm for the summer and autumn. Second pair I have had and they done me great last year.

oxford lobsterclaw gloves are very warm i went through last winter without needing any inner gloves

and as she is riding a scooter they are ideal as you dont need to feel clutch and such

i found with heated grips that the palm of my hand got warm but fingers were still cold

I use my normal gloves plus Cold Killers undergloves. Gives you slightly chunky hands but that is far preferable to agonizing freezing ones.

Worth considering muffs too.
They take a bit of getting used to, but can make a big difference.
A set of under gloves, providing they fit, definitely makes a decent difference.

Third item down Heavy Duty Winter BMW.

They are, by a country mile, far superior at thermal insulation than ANY other glove I have used.
I have been through loads of makes and styles.
Warning: They have thick padding on the palms under fingers too so some caution is required as to using controls. but this is far out weighed by the comfort and extra range they give.

Water proof Gortexed and built in shit-viper on thumb.

The problem with gloves is that no-one has set a standard to test them against.

Even though we pay a fortune for gloves they is no official measure.

It sucks being a biker sometimes.

I bought some lewis winter gloves off ebay for £12.00 (3 years ago) they have survived two winters, but I feel they won't survive this one.

If it is really cold then I wear a thin pair of thermal gloves under the lewis winter gloves
