Anyone encountered the Glis Glis?

I have, one decided to move in with the Gixer family recently. It turns out i live in the Glis Glis triangle, a 200 square mile area which stretches from Aylesbury to Beaconsfield and Luton.

Right now you're probably thinking WTF is a Glis Glis?

It's an edible doormouse, considered a delicacy by the Romans, introduced to this country by the Rothschilds of Tring.

They're an endangered species in this country.

They're even more endangered since one of them decided to take up residence in our airing cupboard:

Endangered species?


There's probably 20 in my loft.

We've caught 8 in cages.. (mother and sister don't want to hurt them).


They are pretty cute, but make one hell of a horrible noise!
