It was ok, don't believe it's based on a true story at all though... I mean if there were tapes with someone speaking ancient Sumerian on them, I think it would have had a bit of circulation, and a kid completely disappearing whilst under police surveillance I don't think would be easily swept under the carpet.

I think someone did a bit of reading around the Sumerian/Annunaki mythology and came up with a decent plotnfor a film.

Seen it and it was alright. Did look into how much of it was true. It's based on the fact about 20 people went missing in a space of 40 years. The FBI did turn up to try and solve them but put it down to either a serial killer or drink related deaths. It really has nothing to do with Aliens and shiz.

I usually like these sorts of films... The McPherson Tape, Blair Witch, Paranormal Activity (sort of) but this was pretty close to being unwatchable, the "archive footage" was just totally not believable and the scare/jump moments seemed all to be executed by characters just screaming really loud executing dialogue badly.

I enjoyed it, and i was literally shitting meself when i thought it was real with the archive footage.

However after doing my research it was fake, and apparantly the creators got in big shit for faking abitchuaries etc
